Regional Museum Goriški muzej Kromberk
The Regional museum Goriški muzej is according to its orientation a provincial museum with a general character. It operates in the area of fifteen communities in Primorska – the Slovene Litoral.
The Museum of Goriška has the following collections: The collection of Kromberk Castle, the collection of “Villa Bartolomei” in Solkan, the museum collection of the Soča/Isonzo Front on the hill Sveta Gora (currently closed) and the collection “Kolodvor” (the Railway Station) at the Nova Gorica's railway station.
In the Museum of Goriška at Kromberk Castle, there are different exhibitions on display and a permanent historical and artistic exhibition.
opening hours:
Winter hours: Weekdays. 8 am - 3 pm, Sundays and Holidays from 1 pm - 5 pm, closed on Saturdays
Summer hours: Weekdays 8 am - 7 pm, Sundays and Holidays from 1 pm - 7 pm, closed on Saturdays
entrance fee:
adults 2 €; children, students: 1 €
visit with guide: adults 4 €, children, students 2 €
