The Šempas Wine Festival

The Tourist Association – TIC Nova Gorica and the Nova Gorica Municipality, in cooperation with the Local Community of Šempas, have organised six wine festivals.

The Tourist Association – TIC Nova Gorica and the Nova Gorica Municipality, in cooperation with the Local Community of Šempas, have organised six wine festivals: a 2006 festival entitled The Chardonnay Festival, and in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 the festival was entitled The Vintage Heritage of Slovenia – a gathering with domestic, and unique varieties, which took place in the Šempas Cultural House. The Wine Festival is carried out as a part of two projects, i.e. Revitalisation of the villages: Šmihel, Ozeljan, Šempas, Vitovlje and Osek, and the Energy of Tastes project. The Energy of Tastes project is co-financed with the LEADER measure funds.
