On the top of the 681 m-high mountain, which the local people call Sveta Gora (Holly Mountain), stands the Basilica of the Assumption. It is a place of pilgrimage since the middle of the 16. century. Inside the church a known picture of Our Lady of Sveta Gora.
The top of the mountain also offers you a breathtaking view, spreading out from the sea in the south to the Dolomites and the Alps in the north.
